Wow what a day at Hallamshire. The boys under 15 quarter-final match of Mohammad Alsarraj (JOR) against Indias Velevan Senthilkumar dropped to its knees and was the longest, recording 60 minutes and a (3:1) win of Alsarraj 12/10, 10/12, 11/6, 11/8.
“I thought, I was the one who normally runs like a tiger, but Velevan outdone me on this day” Said Alsarraj Jun. “He ran and ran and ran and didn’t show any signs of fatigue until the last point of the game in the fourth at 10/8 match point for me – he suddenly just stopped and couldn’t reach my rather mid-lined and wide straight, The-Velvet-Velvans-Fuel was emptied“, proclaimed a rather relieved Alsarraj in todays short Skype-Interview with SquashWithMe, where he is preparing himself for todays Semi-Decider against number five seed from Egypt Karim Magdy starting 3pm UK time.
Unfortunately, we still couldn’t catch up any pics of the guys because of this one reason: “Mr. Steve Cubbins informed SquashWithME, that he is involved in Abbeydale only and if Alsarraj Jun. makes it through to the finals, then he will get the best squash pics ever at the center glass court.” So, we wish him all the luck and strength to achieve his best!
