Another Al-Sarraj crowned Kingdom’s BU11 Squash Champion

Jordans Kingdom Championship ended Thursday evening at the courts of the Jordan Squash Federation in Al Hassan Sport Center, where the final match took place between Al Hassans Club player Karam Albatayneh and Orthodoxy Club player Abdelrahman Mohammad Al-Sarraj. The match ended in favor of Abdulrahman Al-Sarraj, who showed an advanced level of play that foretells the birth of a hero and future Squash champion in and for Jordan.

In turn, Karam tried to keep up with Abdelrahman and was able to progress in some stages of the game, but Al-Sarraj’s insistence on the follow-up balls and his exploitation of all corners of the pitch enabled him to win without great suffering 3/0 (11:2, 11:6, 11:3)

With these results, the order of players after the final day is as follows:

First Place: Abdelrahman Mohammad Sarraj (Al Orthodoxy Club) 18 Points
Second Place: Karam Albatayneh (AL Hassan Club) 15 Points
Third Place: Ahmad Hdaib (Al Orthodoxy Club) 13 Points
Forth Place: Abdelrahman Ibrahim Sarraj (AL Kuliya Club)  13 Points
Fifth Place: Mu’ath Abu Ruman ( Albalqa Federation) 9 Points
Sixth Place: Abdelrahman Assaf (Al Hussain Club) 8 Points
Seventh Place: Yamen Alhattab  (Al Jazeera) 1 Points

At the end of the meeting, the former secretary-general of the olympic committee and Engineer Abdelghany  Tabbalat crowned the winners with medals in the presence of the President of the Jordan Squash Federation Dr. Ramzi Tabbalt, the Federations secretary Dr. Hussam Barakat, chairman of sports committee and chairman of the tournament games at the Orthodoxy Club Mr. Farah Shnoudeh and Mr. Sami Osama Alkhouri and last but not least representative of First Insurance Company and main sponsor Mr. Bader Hijazi.

The president of the Jordan Squash Federation underlined his thanks to the First Insurance Company and wished the same for the rest of the private sector companies and institutions of the nation to follow the First Insurance example in their support and care for Jordanian sports in general and specially the great game of Squash.
