On Saturday 28th April the Jordan Junior Squash Open 2012 ended with some great and surprising results for my Squash Training Group at the Jordan Squash Federation with Hamza Sarraj taking 2nd place at the boys under 13 age group and his younger brother Abdulrahman winning 1st place at the boys under 11 special plate. Further on Alaa Hdaib celebrated her first price money win after reaching 3rd place at the girls under 19 age group loosing only to the finalist and 2nd placed Yara Hamadah also from Jordan.
Ola Bali had a heavy draw playing Alaa Hdaib in her second round match after having a bye in her first round game. She was rather nervous and her lack of concentration and inexperience avoided her from playing a good game and therefore lost her quarter final game easily. But she is looking forward to intensifying her training schedule to achieve more and better results in the near future.
Omar Hassanat played and participated in his first ever tournament at the age of 6 and he did well and is considered as a real talent for the future Squash in Jordan.
